CAVSA LATET, VIS NOTISSIMA
Today was our first day of classes! Students attended Locutio Latina (Spoken Latin), taught by Magister Whitchurch, Mercatus Traiani (Trajan’s Market), taught by Princeps Wilkins, and Quid Rides? (Why Are You Laughing?), taught by Magistra McIntire. After classes, we took part in a petenda (scavenger hunt) around campus. Students needed to translate Latin clues, find various landmarks on campus, and engage with their teachers in lingua Latina (the Latin language). |
