This evening after dinner, we watched a film called Iphigenia, based on a play by Euripides. This film always evokes great emotion from its audience and our audience was no different. One of our very own officers, Tribune Kirby Ann, was in tears by the end of the film, and not afraid to show it. Kirby Ann represented just how affected we all were by the emotions plain and clear in Iphigenia.
Thank you to all the faculty and staff here for allowing us to be comfortable enough with ourselves and each other to let our emotions show as plainly on our faces as Kirby Ann.
This blog will document the MMXVI session of the Virginia Governor's Latin Academy. After elections are held, the aediles will be responsible for its upkeep.
