Hey you, yeah, you reading this!
It's Cullius writing to you again. Only a few days are left until Academy... are you ready? I think I'm ready. Throughout this period of learning, laughing, and speaking, we'll have a great time. I'm looking forward to it! Why am I writing in Latin? One hour of each day of Academy will be spent in Latin conversation. That's Latina Loquenda! But don't be afraid; this will be a joyful and useful hour. While we talk with friends and teachers, we'll play and laugh! Keep in mind, the Latin Language is nobody's first language; while we talk, we all (indeed, even you and me) learn. Each class will pertain to a certain topic. We'll talk about many things in our conversations. About feelings, about price, about merchandise, about nature, about the sky, about clothing, about animals, about food, really, about everything! Latina Loquenda will instruct you in these things so that you can speak Latin at Academy events and by your own volition. Enough for now; we'll soon be on the campus of Randolph-Macon College. At that time, we'll discuss more things together. I can scarcely wait! Take care that you are well.
