                                                             June 20, 2025
Salvete!
This message contains important information about your arrival at Randolph-Macon College on Sunday, June 22, 2025 to attend the Governor's Latin Academy.  Here is the schedule:
  • Arrive between 8:30 and 10:00 am
  • Come to Andrews Dorm (#61 on the map)
  • Park in lots I, H, or street parking
  • Students come into Andrews Dorm Lobby to register and receive key fob.
  • Unload vehicle
  • If you are in lot I (adjacent to the dorm), please move your vehicle to H (across the road), so that others can unload.
  • Unpack and organize room
  • Go to Walmart for any forgotten items
  • Attend Opening Ceremony in Blackwell Auditorium at 11:00 am (#16 on the map)
  • Have lunch with parents in Ashland
  • Report back to Andrews Dorm
  • Parents depart and students should be in their rooms by 2:00 pm

Please do your best to adhere to the above schedule.  We have a saying at Latin Academy: "Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable." If something happens on the drive down, please call me at ‪(804) 496-1475‬.

Remember to consult the checklists on the blog while packing and to leave behind any internet capable electronic device.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Finally, check the blog for updates and send the link to your friends and family.

The staff and I are very excited to meet you and convene the 2025 session of the Governor's Latin Academy.  Until then,

Curate ut valeatis,
Jacquelyn Wilkins
Princeps, GLA MMXXV
