Salvete, omnes! Today was our second day of Latin classes, where we covered Theocritus in Appalachian Arcadia, Sappho's oeuvre in Voces Feminarum, and more scansion in Neuterque et Uterque. Today started with a belated breakfast which eventually worked out in the end, and mostly consisted of the available cereal, strawberry cream cheese, and apples. At all meals we've also all had a disproportionate intake of the available ice cream and brownies, which are undeniably delicious. Today was also our second day of Latin Loquenda, which included watching a creepy 3d animated short and answering questions in Latine on it (the video was titled "The Easy Life" for anyone curious). Today was also our second day of Greek, where we practiced new vocab and conversations. We are all excited to be learning Greek here at the Academy along with Latin, and are happy with the progress we've been making so far. At the end of the day we had a lecture on Greek pottery, which we found very interesting, and got to manufacture our own accessories out of clay (and apparently resin for Germania!). These are our current standings for the Province Cup (Imagine Harry Potter but with five more houses!) Britannia: 62 Germania: 42 Achaea: 42 Hispania: 39 Aegyptus: 35 Italia: 30 Gallia: 30 Asia: 29 Africa: 23 Bene Nocte, Emily and Jackson

It was so nice seeing pictures of the kids! I miss my girl but it’s great to hear what they are learning and obviously staying really busy.
