Day 3: Elections and photos!

Salvete! Today was our first day of Greek classes, which included an introduction to Greek language, Lucian's True History, and Mercatus Traiani. These classes turned out to be very fun! Today was also the hottest day in 14 years, and along with us having to wear togas today, it certainly felt like it! In our togas, we had dinner and a photoshoot! Earlier, we met with the Japanese Academy and we traded phrases from each of our respective languages. Additionally, we had our first Latin Loquenda, which is an hour of spoken Latin. While challenging at first, it is quite fun, and I'm confident that we will all get the hang of it soon. We also had the announcement of current province cup standings, in which Britannia is currently first. At the end of the day, we had elections, which your two wonderful aediles, Emily and Jackson, won!

Your (now permanent) aediles,
Emily and Jackson (see slideshows for photos of us)

Congratulations Emily and Jackson!
I know myself daughter Sophie was especially excited to learn about the Greek language. We would love to see some pictures of our kids. Thanks for all your support to help our students grow, learn, and have some fun.
