Here is how arrival works:
Arrive between 8:30 and 10:00 am Come to Andrews Dorm (#61 on the map) Park in the lot across the street from Andrews, next to Bennett Residence Hall (#58 on the map) Come to the staff table in that lot and self-administer a rapid covid test. If the test is positive, you may request a second test. If both tests are positive, we will have to ask you to leave and forfeit your spot at academy. If it is negative, staff will give you a lanyard and allow you to move on to registration in Andrews Dorm. Move car to lots H, E, or street parking Unpack and organize room Go to Walmart for any forgotten items Attend Opening Ceremony in Blackwell Auditorium at 11:00 am (#16 on the map) Have lunch with parents in Ashland Report back to Andrews Dorm Parents depart and students should be in their rooms by 2:00 pm Please do your best to adhere to the above schedule. We have a saying at Latin Academy: "Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable." If something happens on the drive down, please call me at (804) 412-8409. Remember to consult the checklists on the blog while packing and to leave behind any internet capable electronic device. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
